Magnificently You
A transformational retreat
in the art of becoming
more fully alive.
Reconnect with your aliveness, creativity, inner guidance —
and the magnificent possibility of being fully you.
The Invitation
There is a longing that lives in most of us.
Not necessarily for a different life, or even to become someone different.
But to feel more fully here.
More alive in our bodies. More connected to what moves us. More able to hear our own inner voice, follow what calls us, express what wants to be expressed — and experience the joy of being unmistakably ourselves.
Magnificently You is an invitation into that space.
A retreat from the noise, expectations and familiar rhythms of everyday life, and into an environment designed to awaken curiosity, creativity, connection and possibility.
Through music, movement, embodied practice, meditation, reflection, conversation and time in nature, we create space to listen differently — to the body, to the heart, to one another, and to whatever within you is asking for more room to live.
There is nothing here you need to become worthy of.
The invitation is to discover what happens when you give yourself the space to meet more of who you already are — and allow that person to become more fully alive.
Magnificently You.

The Experience
What does it mean to become more fully alive?
For me, it begins with listening.
Beneath the voices of expectation, habit and everything we have learned about who we should be, there is another language. The language of the body. Of feeling and resonance. Of the things that draw us closer, make something light up within us, or give us that unmistakable sense of yes.
Throughout Magnificently You, we begin to explore that language.
We listen inwardly. We become curious about what moves us, what expands us, what brings energy and colour into the body. We notice what feels true. What ignites us. What gives us joy. What makes us feel wonderfully at home in ourselves.
And little by little, something can begin to be remembered.
Not a former version of ourselves that we need to return to, but a deeper recognition of who we are beneath the layers we have accumulated along the way — and of the inner knowing that has been there all along.
This exploration happens through the body as much as through the mind. Through the heart and inner listening as much as through reflection and wonder.
Music and sound invite us to experience resonance rather than analyse it. Movement and embodied practices help us notice what the body is communicating. Meditation and visualisation open other ways of listening. Creativity allows something new to emerge without needing to know where it is going. Reflection and conversation help us give language to what we discover.
And throughout it all, there is space.
Space to walk. To rest. To eat together. To laugh. To be stimulated and surprised. To have conversations that go somewhere unexpected, and to experience the particular kind of connection that can arise when people begin meeting one another from a more authentic place.
Each Magnificently You retreat has a structure and an intention, while leaving room for the people, the place and what emerges within the group to shape the experience.
Because becoming more fully alive is not something we accomplish.
It is something we begin to recognise, remember — and allow.
The Journey
Magnificently You is not about following a prescribed path towards a predetermined version of yourself.
It is an unfolding.
Each person arrives with their own story, their own longings, their own questions — and their own inner knowing.
The journey creates space for that knowing to become easier to hear.

Arrive
Coming Into Presence
We begin by arriving — not only in a new place, but in ourselves.
Slowing the familiar momentum of everyday life. Connecting with the body, the senses and the people around us. Allowing ourselves to become present enough to notice what is actually here.

Explore
Giving Possibility Room to Breathe
What happens when we don't immediately ask whether something is sensible, achievable or useful?
Through creativity, movement, music, imagination and shared exploration, we make room for curiosity — and for possibilities that may not have been visible from inside our familiar ways of thinking.

Listen
Discovering Your Inner Language
What draws you? What moves you? What creates expansion, energy, curiosity or joy?
We explore the subtle and not-so-subtle ways your body, emotions, creativity and intuition communicate with you — beginning to recognise the particular language of your own inner knowing.

Express
Letting More of You Be Seen
Coming alive also asks something of us.
To allow what we discover inwardly to find expression outwardly — through our voice, our creativity, our choices, our presence and the way we meet other people.
Not performance. Not perfection.
Expression.

Remember
Recognising What Makes You Come Alive
As we listen, we may begin to remember.
The passions that became secondary. The parts of ourselves we stopped expressing. The desires we dismissed. The qualities we forgot to value. Or something entirely new that is only now asking to emerge.
This isn't about going backwards.
It is about recognising more of what is alive in you now.

Become
Taking Your Aliveness With You
The retreat doesn't end with becoming a finished version of yourself.
It ends — or perhaps begins — with a deeper relationship with your own inner compass and a greater willingness to listen when something within you says:
This matters. This is me. This way.
And from there, you return to your life.
Not necessarily with all the answers.
But more fully, magnificently you.

You never had to become magnificent.
It was always within you.
Meet Emma
I have spent much of my life exploring what it means to listen — to music, to the body, to intuition, to other people, and to the inner signals that tell us when something is deeply right for us.
My own journey has taken me through music and performance, creativity and motherhood, personal development and embodied practice, periods of questioning and reinvention, and the ongoing discovery of what happens when we become willing to trust more of who we are.
Today, I bring those different strands together in the spaces I create.
I am a musician, author, facilitator and guide, with more than three decades of experience in music, performance and creative work, alongside training and practice in somatic coaching, meditation, intuitive guidance and embodied approaches to personal development.
But Magnificently You isn't a retreat where I stand at the front and tell you how to live your life.
My role is to listen, to notice, to ask questions, to bring music and creativity into places words cannot always reach — and to create experiences that invite you into a deeper relationship with your own knowing.
I believe profoundly in our capacity to recognise what is true for us when we are given the space to listen.
And I love what can happen when we do that together.
